The Grief Cycle is Bullsh*t is my first book, a raw unfiltered journey
through the hardest reality a parent can face: the murder of my
daughter, Nanah. Writing this wasn’t just painful; it felt like pouring my
heart out on every page. Balancing the honesty in my emotions with
respect for her legacy, while recognizing the limitations of an open case,
was an enormous challenge. I wrote this for parents like me,
navigating unimaginable loss with a heart still beating, still loving, and
still hoping. This book isn't about a clean "cycle" or "stage" of grief, it's
about the truth of what it takes to survive and honor a loved one,
even when the world doesn't understand.

Unspoken Pain, Unyielding Love: A Parent Story of Loss

In this deeply personal book about the loss of his daughter. Darrin lays bare a parent heartbreak in a way that is both profoundly painful and surprisingly beautiful. The emotions are raw and unfiltered, yet there is an undeniable grace in the way the story unfolds. The quiet moments of resilience and the flickers of hope woven into the narrative offer of sense of healing that is both cathartic and comforting. The simplicity and power in its honesty will captivate you. This is a book that will stay with you long after the last page, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has experienced loss, or to anyone who simply wants to understand the depth of a parent love. A remarkable, heartfelt tribute to love and loss.
